The Italian football club atlanta officially announced the hospitalization of his head coach Ivan Yurych. The 49-year-old specialist was taken to the hospital after a sharp deterioration of health. He diagnosed with acute inflammation of the upper respiratory tract.

According to the club’s official presents, Yurich is currently under the supervision of doctors of the otolaryngological department, where there is a course of intravenous antibiotic therapy. Doctors note positive dynamics in its condition and predict a planned extract in the coming days.

“The current clinical condition has improved significantly, and a controlled statement is expected in the coming days,” the club said.

The Atlanta hopes for a speedy recovery of the mentor and his return to work. The team is currently temporarily managed by the coaching staff.

Ivan Yurych headed the atlant in the summer of 2025, changing Jana Pierre Gasperini. Last season, the specialist managed to work in three clubs-Torino, Roma and English Southampton, who left the Premier League.

The club, which is considered one of the favorites of Series A, hopes to return the coach before the start of the new season.
