The 46-year-old Ukrainian mentor has signed a two-year contract and will start working with the first league newcometer in the near future.
Babich’s coaching staff included Vladimir Belakov – a pupil of Poltava football, Valery Kutsenko, as well as goalkeeper coach Dmitry Stoyko.
In his coaching career, Babich worked with a number of Ukrainian clubs, including Chernomorets, Kryvbas and Mariupol. He also has the experience of foreign work: he headed the Bulgarian clubs of Fratrium and Pirin.
