Los Angeles officially announced that George Kiellini became a co-owner of the club. The legendary Italian defender completed his playing career at the end of 2023, and in 2024 he became part of the club’s management structure.

“Joining the LAFC owners group is a great honor for me,” Kiellini said.

The Italian joined LAFC in June 2022 after almost two decades as part of the Juventus Turin. As a part of the American team, he spent 45 matches, won the MLS Cup 2022, became a champion of the Western Conference twice, and also reached the finals of the Champions League of Concacaf and the Champions Cup in 2023. In the 2024 season, Kiellini had already worked at the club as a coach.

The quarry of Kiellini covers more than 22 years, during which he won nine championship titles of Series A, five Cups in Italy, as many Italy’s supercupci and Euro-2020 championship as part of the Italy national team, for which he played 117 matches. He was also recognized as the best defender of Series A three times and went to the symbolic national team five times.
