The Zaporizhzhya Regional Football Association has officially announced the appointment of Sergiy Sidorchuk to the post of advisor to sports strategy and football development in the region.

One of the most successful pupils of Zaporizhzhya football returns to the roots to promote the construction of quality football environment in their native land.

“I am grateful for trust. The Zaporozhye region is my house, and for me it is not a formal role, but an opportunity to join in the construction of a quality football environment”– Sidorchuk said.

The new role implies not only consulting support, but also directly involvement in the formation of football philosophy of the region, building a system of youth training, development of communication between clubs and coaching community.

Serhiy Sidorchuk will pay special attention to young players and their integration into adult football.
