Pisa officially announced the appointment of Alberto Jillardino as the head coach of the first team. The former striker of the Italian national team, which became the world champion in 2006, will lead the team from next season.

Jillardino has experience in all Italy’s professional divisions. Among his previous clubs – about Verchelli, Sivine and Genoa, with which he won the series B and retained the residence in the elite next season.

With Pisova, the specialist signed a contract for two years, with the possibility of continuing for the season. In the coming days, the club will announce the composition of the Jillardino coaching staff and the date of its official presentation for the media.
