Espanyol officially announced the signing of the striker Kike Garcia. The 35-year-old Spanish forward joined the Catalan club on the right of a free agent and signed a contract for two years.

Last season, Kikes advocated Alaves, where he spent one of the most successful periods in his career. He scored 13 goals in 35 La League matches – his personal record in the elite division of Spain.

During his career, Garcia also protected Murcia, Midlsbro, Aibar and Osasuns, proving himself as a stable and working forward.

This is the second summer signing of Espanyol – the day before the club announced the transition of Serbian goalkeeper Marko Dmitrovich from Leganes. He will replace Jean Garcia, who became a player of Barcelona this summer.
