FC Alexandria officially announced the appointment of Kirill Nesterenko to the post of head coach of the first team. The presentation of the mentor took place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.

The 33-year-old specialist is a pupil of the Donetsk football school. As a player, he advocated Donetsk metallurg and Latvian Syulay. After completing his career, he went to coaching.

He started working in the Kamyanskaya Steel Youth Team (U-21), and later joined the coaching staff of the base. He has the experience of international work – he worked in Kazakh clubs Shakhtar (Karaganda) and Caspium (ACTAU), as well as in the Bulgarian Levsky Sofia.
