In Kiev, in the walls of the Football House, a general meeting of participants of the association of professional football clubs of Ukraine-the Ukrainian Premier League-took place. During the event, the results of the 2024/25 season were officially summarized, including the main championship and tournament among U-19 teams.

The annual report on the financial and economic activities of the Premier League over the past season, as well as financial plan for the 2025/26 season, was also approved.

One of the key solutions was to determine the final composition of the participants of the elite division for the next championship. Vorskla, left shore, Ingulets and Chernomorets left UPL. Their places will be occupied by the epicenter (Kamianets-Podilskyi), Poltava, Metalist 1925 (Kharkiv) and Kudrivka.

The newly made participants of the season-2025/26 were awarded the relevant certificates-the ceremony was held by the first Vice president of UAF Artem Stoyanov.

In addition, club representatives unanimously approved the project of the competition regulation for the next season.

The new UPL Championship is scheduled for August 2. At the same time, Ukrainian clubs that will represent the country in the European Cups will start their campaigns earlier: Shakhtar – July 10 in the first qualifying round of the Europa League, and at the end of July, Dynamo, Alexandria and Polissya will join the Champions League and the League of Conferences. The draw will take place on June 17-18.
