The Lviv movement officially appointed Ivan Fedik as the head coach of the first team, replacing Vitaliy Ponomarev, who left his position. The sports director of the club Volodymyr Lapitsky revealed that the choice of a new mentor was obvious – the alternatives did not even arose from the management.

“The movement has always made it possible to make debut to the UPL with their pupils to show themselves at this level, make their mistakes, progress and become professionals. We always believe in our personnel. The same applies to coaches who have been working in the club for a long time, including Ivan Fedik.

In the previous campaign, under the direction of Ivan Zenonovich, Rukh-2 with young players showed great results in the Second League. Fedik has long been working at the club and is familiar with all the players, from the first team to the students of the Academy. He will have no problems with communication even with legionnaires, because he knows many languages ​​and therefore will not have a language barrier with them.

Taking into account all these factors, neither the founder, nor the club management was considered by other candidates for the post of head coach Rukh – Ivan Fedyk was immediately a favorite for this place as soon as Vitaliy Ponomarev would leave the club, “Lapitsky said.

According to the results of the season, the movement took eighth in the UPL standings.
