Polish Lechia Gdansk is interested in keeping in his application for the next season, 20-year-old Ukrainian midfielder Anton Tsarenko. This was announced in an interview with Kanal Sportowy Sports Director of the Club Yakub Khodorovsky.

“Our proposal is comprehensive, and we negotiate with Dynamo. We hope that Anton will stay with us,” the functionary said.

Tsarenko’s rent and Lechia’s contract is completed in the near future, after which he has to return to Kiev. However, his further future is not yet defined – Dynamo head coach Alexander Shovkovsky plans to evaluate the player during the summer meeting and only then make a decision.

Tsarenko is one of five Ukrainians in the Polish Club. Together with him, the goalkeeper Bohdan Sarnavsky, Khavbeki Ivan Zhelizko and Maxim Khlan, as well as forward Bogdan Vyunnik.

We will add that the goal of the Zhelemka helped Lechia to divide points with the pursuit.
