At the age of 78, Luis Galvan, a former defender of the national team and 1978, died. The sad news was confirmed by the Argentina Football Federation.
Galvan is a pupil of Thalieres from Cordova, it was for this club that he played most of his careers. He also protected the colors of Loma Negro, Belgrano and Bolivian Bolivar.
As part of the Argentina national team, Galvan spent 34 matches between 1975 and 1983. He became one of the heroes of the 1978 World Cup, where Albiseleste won the World Champions title for the first time.
