Futsal head coach Oleksandr Kosenko commented on the victory of his team in the Euro-2026 selection match, which was completed with the maximum points of glasses.

“We are tuning to every game, we want to win, it can be done. I thank the guys again, because they seemed to have passed to the European Championship, but they still went out and supported their Renome, won and completed this selection with a maximum of points.

So I congratulate players, fans, thank them that they support us. In general, I want to thank everyone, and first of all – the Armed Forces of Ukraine that we have the opportunity – to play. I also thank everyone who supports the national team during this difficult time. The guys thank their inspirational game.

I will not say that there were experiments with composition. We tried different combinations. I think everything is normal: in the first half they played some, in the second – the other. All right, the end result is victory, so we move on.

An agreement between Ukraine and Romania about a moment of silence? We wanted to honor the memory of the dead in a terrible terrorist attack. Honestly, the heart and soul hurts. Romanians understand it all and, without hesitation, immediately supported and said that it is really important that the whole world knows about it. What is happening is terrible.
