Manchester City shows interest in the return of 22-year-old attacking midfielder Aston Morgan Rogers. City head coach PEP Guardiola highly appreciates the player’s progress and has “serious hopes” for his signing, Teamtalk reports.

Rogers joined Aston Villa in February 2024 with Middlesbro for an amount of 15 million pounds. In his second season, he scored 12 goals for the villa and made 11 productive shows in all competitions, which attracted the attention of several top clubs.

Aston Villa does not want to part with Rogers, so Manchester City will have to make a “significant offer” to sign it.

It is worth noting that Rogers was already in the Manchester City system from 2019 to 2023 before moving to Midlsbro.
