The German National Team Handle Julian Nagelsmann opted in favor of a 34-year-old player Goffenheim, with whom he worked for over three years (February 2016-July 2019). Alexander Nubel (Stuttgart/Bavaria) and Stefan Ortega (Manchester City) also claimed the role of the main goalkeeper.
Baumann made his debut for Germany in the fall of 2024, having held two “dry” matches in the League of Nations. Then the Germans on their own field coped with the Netherlands (1: 0), as well as crushed Bosnia and Herzegovina (7: 0).
