Barcelona left-back Alex Vallée, on loan from Celtic until the end of the 2024/25 season, was in the sphere of interests of Como, journalist Fabrizio Romano reports.

The 20-year-old Spaniard is considered very talented by the Serie A club. Transfer negotiations are ongoing.

Kieran Tierney’s return from Arsenal could be the key to Barcelona recalling Vallée from his loan spell at Celtic, Romano says.

Alex now has five assists in 18 matches across all competitions this campaign.

It will be recalled that Como previously acquired Antwerp goalkeeper Jean Bute, Lyon midfielder Maxans Caquere and Betis striker Assan Diao.
