After the end of the game, the “white and blue” midfielder Vladyslav Kabaev commented on the performance of his own team.

“This is the first victory of the new year. It is very nice to win against an opponent who is performing well in the current draw of the Europa League. We will continue to work, Dynamo should win even at the meetings, this is a positive for every team.

But at the same time, the next match is already tomorrow, so there is no time to rest. We will analyze today’s game – and tomorrow we will go to the field to get the same result.

It is quite normal to play every day at the meeting. I am already 29 years old, the last 12, for sure, I have been going to meetings. And it is normal for an athlete to play games every day or every other day. I have repeatedly said that it is better to play than to train.

Yes, it is difficult, we are under a lot of pressure, which was evident from the first game, where we did not manage to achieve a result. Today was a little easier, but we have time to gain physical shape through training, games, theoretical classes and be in better condition for official matches.

A lot of running work, and few football players like to run without the ball and perform specific exercises. But there is nowhere without it, you have to endure, because no one likes to work in meetings the first days and weeks after vacation.

But that’s okay, we know why we’re doing it and that it will only help us in the future.

In general, Dynamo always has status rivals. It is better to play against such teams, which perform well both in national championships and in European cups, to check their level against their background. Today, I believe that we were better prepared both physically and mentally, so the victory is quite natural. In the future, these victories should be transferred to official matches.

To be honest, I don’t know what the lineup will be in future matches, because everything changes very quickly. This is a meeting, we hold two training sessions – God forbid, someone has an injury. But we have a lot of guys who are able to come out and be a worthy replacement. They showed it last year. Therefore, it is difficult to say what the composition will be, but it will be the choice of the coaching staff.

As usual, today upon arrival at the hotel, we will probably go to the pool, sauna, there will be recovery, maybe a massage. After that, everyone relaxes at their own discretion – who plays PlayStation, who plays cards, who reads the news, who talks to family.
