Liverpool have announced the transfer of goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga to Brazilian side Fluminense. This was reported by the official website of the Reds.

“The footballer is about to say goodbye to the team after four years at the club. He will now return to Fluminense, the team where he started his career before moving to Liverpool. We wish Marcelo the best of luck in the future,” the Merseyside club said in a statement.

It is noted that before signing the contract, the 22-year-old Brazilian must undergo a medical examination and receive the necessary documents.

Marcelr Pitaluga joined Liverpool from Fluminense in October 2020. Since then, he has not played a single match in the Reds’ main team.
