In the match of the 1/8 finals of the Italian Cup, Roma confidently beat Sampdoria with a score of 4:1.

Claudio Ranieri’s team opened the scoring in the ninth minute with the efforts of Ukrainian Artem Dovbyk, who blocked Alexis Salemakers’ pass. Ten minutes later, the Ukrainian scored a double, catching a rebound off the crossbar. Tommaso Baldanzi scored his goal five minutes later.

In the 61st minute, the guests won back one goal thanks to the efforts of Gerard Yepes, to which Roma responded with a goal kick by Eldor Shomurodov, who replaced Dovbyk in the 78th minute.
