LOSS OF THE ENEMY

– Two Russian tankers had an accident in the Black Sea near the Kerch Strait. Greenpeace Ukraine said that this could lead to an environmental disaster.

– Hungary, on Orban’s initiative, offered Russia and Ukraine to conclude a Christmas truce for a few days and exchange prisoners.

– The SBU together with the Defense Forces hit a Russian train carrying fuel in the temporarily occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region.

– FIFA removed the segment from the broadcast where it showed a map of Ukraine without Crimea. However, the International Football Federation did not apologize for this incident.

– The Armed Forces do not exclude that the Russians will involve the North Korean military in hostilities in the east of Ukraine. All because of Russian losses.

INFORMATION FROM THE GENERAL STAFF OF THE ARMY REGARDING THE SITUATION AT THE FRONT (22:00)

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy stormed our positions near Visoka Yaruga, Vovchansk, and Tykhoi. Nine attacks were repulsed by the defense forces, one battle is ongoing.

The losses of the enemy so far in the direction amounted to 90 servicemen killed and wounded, four units of vehicles, nine unmanned aerial vehicles and a unit of special equipment of the enemy were destroyed; three vehicles and one artillery system were also damaged.

Kupian direction: the enemy carried out offensive actions near Zagryzovy and Lozova. Three battles have been completed, one is still ongoing.

In the Lyman direction, the Russian invaders stormed the positions of the Defense Forces 18 times near Novoyehorivka, Grekivka, Terni, Tverdokhlibovo and Nadia. Ukrainian defenders stopped 15 enemy attacks, three clashes are still ongoing.

The Seversky direction: the enemy stormed our positions near Bilogorivka, Verkhnyokamyanskyi, Ivano-Daryivka, and Vyimka 33 times, and battles are currently taking place in 17 locations.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders attacked three times in the areas of Chasovoy Yar and Stupochky, all attempts of the invaders to advance were stopped by Ukrainian soldiers.

In the Toretsk direction, with the support of bomber aircraft, the enemy carried out 11 assault operations.

The invaders stormed the positions of Ukrainian units near Toretsk and Shcherbinivka. Seven attacks of the aggressor have been repelled, four clashes are still ongoing.

Pokrovsky direction: since the beginning of this day, the enemy has attacked 27 times in Myrolyubivka, Promeny, Lysivka, Dachenskyi, Zeleny, Pischany, and Novoolenivka districts. Our defenders repelled 16 attacks, 11 combat clashes are still ongoing.

According to the available data, at this time the losses of the enemy for today amounted to 362 servicemen killed and wounded; two tanks, six cars, an ATGM and a UAV control antenna were destroyed by Ukrainian defenders.

In the Kurakhiv direction, the invaders attacked 31 times near Stary Terni, Sontsivka, Zora, Kurakhovo, and Uspenivka. 23 attacks by the occupiers have already been repelled, the fighting continues.

In the Vremivsk direction, battles are taking place near Suhy Yali, Rozlyv, Zelenivka, and Makarivka. Ukrainian defenders repelled 23 enemy assaults in the districts of Kostiantynopol, Trudovoy, Novy Komar, and Novosilka.

In the Dnieper direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine stopped three attempts by the occupiers to attack our positions.

In Kurshchyna, our defenders repelled 26 enemy assaults, the invaders continue to attack.

In other directions, there are no significant changes.

Now – at the first stage – transfers within the National Guard are open for soldiers of the National Guard, but there is a task to add the possibility of transfers between units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and National Guard.

More units of our border guards will be added to “Army+” in the near future. As of today, there are already 3,607 positive decisions regarding transfers for our soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The team from the Ministry of Internal Affairs actively worked together with the Ministry of Defense to achieve results for our National Guardsmen. Thank you!
