The head coach of the Romanian national team, Mircea Lucescu, commented on UEFA’s decision to fine his team 128,000 euros, and also reacted to the punishment for Kosovo after the scandal in the League of Nations match.

“They were supposed to be back on the field in 15 minutes at the most. They humiliated us and then smashed the dressing room.

This is unacceptable. I just can’t accept it. They were fined six thousand euros. It’s just ridiculous!”, journalist Emanuel Rosu quotes Lucescu as saying.

It will be recalled that the Kosovo national team left the field early after the Romanian fans started chanting pro-Serbian slogans. At first, the game was suspended, but within an hour, the head referee of the meeting made a decision to stop the match.

Today it became known that UEFA punished Kosovo with a technical defeat in favor of Romania.
