A change of club registration by the 22-year-old Ukrainian in the winter is unlikely, but not impossible. The Cherries are keen to keep all of their key players until at least the end of the season and will only consider offers they “can’t refuse”.
Zabarny’s contract with Bournemouth runs until the end of June 2029. The transfermarkt portal estimates the performer at 32 million euros.
According to TEAMtalk sources, Ilya is on Chelsea’s transfer shortlist along with fellow Benfica position Tomas Araújo. In this case, a Ukrainian is a more affordable option.
Earlier it was reported that neither the “blues” nor Tottenham are afraid of Zabarny’s price tag of 50 million pounds.
During the current Premier League campaign, the defender took part in 11 matches for Bournemouth.
