Wolverhampton defender Jerson Mosquera will not be able to help his team this season. This was reported by the press service of the club.
The 23-year-old Colombian suffered a knee injury in the match against Aston Villa (1:3) during the second half, after which he was carried off the field on a stretcher.
After a medical examination, the football player was diagnosed with damage to the medial collateral ligament and anterior cruciate ligament of the knee.
In the near future, Yerson will undergo an operation, after which a long recovery process awaits him.
This season, Mosquera managed to play five matches.
