Before the game I told the players that even though we are the youngest team in the Premier League, they have to show how serious we are. The most important thing for me today was to win the game, but also to make it clear that yes, we are young, but we are men, we are serious and we want to compete.

It depends a little on the time of the season. Sometimes you may have injuries and various kinds of problems. At the moment we are all available apart from Romeo Lavia and Rhys James, so if we have the opportunity we try to spread the playing time between everyone.

I am very happy for Pedro Neth, Christopher Nkunka, Joao Feliz, all of them. They all deserve to be playing in the Premier League from the start but they are not playing now.

However, the way they take their chances when we give them a few minutes is just fantastic. It doesn’t matter if it’s five minutes, 45 minutes or 90 minutes, they’re all ready and that’s the most important thing.

This is the most important thing for me, that they make it difficult for me to choose. This means that they are doing well. This is a key point, so we need to continue in the same spirit.

I was also pleased with the performance of Tyreke George and Josh Acheampong. I think they both played very well. In such games it was important for them to be brave, not to be shy.

It doesn’t matter if you make a mistake, it’s football. They were both very good. Tyreek squandered one chance, but then created another.
