Barcelona are showing serious interest in 20-year-old Birmingham Aston Villa striker John Duran. This is reported by El Nacional.

According to the source, the sports director of “blue-garnet” Deco has already established contact with the English club to find out the details of the agreement regarding the possible purchase of the Colombian forward.

The player’s current contract with the club runs until June 30, 2028. Transfermarkt estimates it at 20 million euros.

This season, John Duran played six matches (161 minutes) for Aston Villa and scored four goals.

It was previously reported that former Barcelona goalkeepers Keylor Navas and Claudio Bravo, amid Ter Stegen’s injury, want to return to the Catalan club.
