The national futsal team of Ukraine won an important victory over Afghanistan with a score of 4:1 in the last match of the group stage.

Oleksandr Kosenko’s team opened the scoring in the 15th minute, when Zhuk scored a productive shot, who converted the penalty, and in one minute Abakshin doubled the advantage of the “blue-yellows”.

Afghanistan scored their only goal in the 26th minute through a Gholami effort. After that, there was another two-minute break for the Ukrainians, when Zvarych scored in the 37th minute, and Korsun in a minute.

Thus, Ukraine scored six points and entered the playoffs of the World Cup from second place, leaving behind Afghanistan and Angola. Argentina, which beat Angola (7:5) in a parallel match, made it out of our group early into the playoffs.
