Former Chelsea and Ivory Coast striker Salomon Kalou resumed his career at the age of 39.

Kalou spent six years at Stamford Bridge, scoring 60 goals in 254 games. With the club, he won the Champions League, the Premier League, four FA Cups and the League Cup. Also played for Feyenoord, Lille, Hertha and Botafogo.

Two years ago, he made a surprise move to Djibouti club Arta Solar 7, where he played alongside former Arsenal midfielder Alex Song.

Arta Solar 7 chairman Tommy Taioro Nikoss took charge of Ivorian SC Gagnoa in early September and convinced Kala to join the team as both director and player.

It should be noted that the club was relegated from the First Division of the Ivorian league at the end of last season.
