Sokolova became an invited guest of Masha Yefrosinina and Ola Polyakova’s author’s program “Adult Girls”. However, a few months after filming, she asked to remove the issue with her. In an interview with RBC-Ukraine, Yanina admitted that the reason for this decision was the scandal with Polyakova.
“The program that you see on YouTube or on television, it is not filmed on the day you watch it. It was filmed two months or even more, when Olya Polyakova sang at the wedding of a corrupt official who was connected to the embezzlement of the Ukrainian army. When I saw it and heard the singer’s arguments that she did not know who he was at all, I realized that it would be strange if I, which has a position regarding such characters, I come on the air and do not speak on this topic at all,” she commented.
The journalist noted that after the scandalous corporate party of Ola Polyakova, she radically changed her opinion about her, which is why she refused to be next to her on the show.
“I said that I don’t want my face to be next to this singer. After what happened, I have the right to refuse it, because I don’t even like that I agreed. I will no longer participate in stories with similar characters,” Sokolova emphasized.
