Snapping a selfie in a red headscarf and tortoise shell sunglasses, Honey G – real name Anna Gilford – appeared glowing as she smiled for the camera.

In the caption, she admitted to struggling with “burnout”, urging others to try out mindfulness.

The TV star wrote: “A lot of people think stress and burnout mean they’re doing something wrong — not managing their time well enough, not being disciplined enough, not trying hard enough.

“But often it’s not about effort at all. It’s about capacity.

“When your nervous system has been under pressure for a long time, even things that help — rest, journaling, movement, mindfulness — can feel hard to access. Not because you don’t care, but because your system is tired.”

She continued to tell fans to “create small pockets of safety” rather than pushing for change, referencing how to “heal”.

Honey G also linked a four-week mindfulness programme that she runs on her Instagram Stories.

The zen post is worlds away from the eccentric nature fans saw her have on stage during her time on The X Factor – which saw her get to fifth place.

Matt Terry went on to win the season.

These days, Honey G is focusing more on her mindfulness coaching more than music, with the star a CMA-accredited mindfulness practitioner.

Her course website, which is run under her real name Anna, says she specialises in stress, anxiety, and burnout with science-based practices that regulate the nervous system.

However, the star does still work in entertainment.

In December, she appeared in a panto production of Cinderella at Lancashire’s Fleetwood Marine Hall alongside CBB star David Potts.

While she also often shares clips of herself rapping and performing to social media.
