The Traitors is back on our screens to kick off the New YearCredit: BBC It will be a return to form for the BBC show after the celebrity edition which aired from Wednesday October 8, 2025 to Thursday November 6, 2025.

Ed Gamble, host of The Traitors podcast said exclusively to The Sun, he said: “I think now, for the next game, comedians are in deep trouble because all of the talk this time was ‘Alan’s done amazingly because he’s being funny’.
“Jonathan [Ross] was very funny, everything was batted away with a laugh. As soon as you’re laughing you’re forgetting that you’re accusing someone and all the suspicion goes away.
“I think regardless of whether they’re faithfuls or traitors, comedians are going early in the next game, and I think that is the Alan Carr legacy.”
Harry Clarke was another traitor who achieved victory in series 2 of the show.
When discussing the impact the show had on him, Harry said: “I’ll always be in debt to The Traitors because it catapulted me into a completely different life I never knew I could have.

“I never saw series one, so I turned up, and this is why I always say I think I won, because I went in there with such true intention.”
However, the show really is anyone’s game – in series 1 and 3 it was faithfuls who won the show.
Of course, Claudia will be back hosting and choosing the Traitors in 2026.
She told audiences how this season will differ from the last celebrity edition: “It gets really, really brutal.
“The celebrity one, they were adorable, but they were at the round table like, ‘No, no, after you’. That’s not how this one goes. These players play it differently. It gets hardcore, it gets very heated.
“We get some very juicy round tables.
“Did they keep the bit in when I scream? I get ugly.

I’ve seen this, it’s going to go down this route’.
“And all I can say is that it absolutely doesn’t.”
