New rules for using water motorcycles were approved in Kiev / photos of ua.depositphotos.comThe rules for the use of water motorcycles and small sports vessels for water entertainment in recreation areas were approved in Kyiv. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration (KSCA).
It is noted that from now on the capital ride on water motorcycles and other means for entertainment on the water is allowed only in the daytime at a visibility of at least a thousand meters, wind speeds up to 10 meters per second and a wave height not more than 50 centimeters.
“A person who controlled a small vessel, sports or water motorcycle in a state of alcoholic, narcotic or other intoxication or under the influence of medicines that reduce their attention and speed of reaction should be removed from further management of such a vessel,” the document reads.
All persons who are on a water motorcycle during its movement should be dressed in rescue vests or other individual life -saving agents. Passenger capacity for one attraction should not be exceeded.
It is also forbidden to discharge garbage, pollutants and any objects from the ship. In addition, it is forbidden to sit on the nose, feed or sides of the vessel, hanging your feet overboard while driving.
However, the rules do not apply to the vessels that are part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Also, during the fulfillment of the tasks of official activity, the vessels of the National Police, the SES, State Fisheries and the administration of navigation may be rejected.
It should be noted that the use of water transport could be a danger to many other holidaymakers. And many people who rested on the water were indignant with the spread of this phenomenon.
