Each season will tell a separate story.
Ubisoft announced a Far Cry series / Photo – UbisoftUbisoft has now officially announced that Far Cry is being made into a TV series. The project will be handled by Noah Hawley, the creator of the series “Fargo” and “Legion”.
There are not many details yet, but it is known that the show will be in an anthology format, where each season will have its own setting, a new cast and a separate story.
Hawley is not alone in working on the series, he is joined by Rob McElhenney, known for “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”, and at the same time he not only produces the project, but also plays one of the roles.
Produced by FX, the show will be released on Hulu for the US and Disney+ for other regions.
Hawley says that the format of the anthology is close and understandable to him, in “Fargo” he has long honed the approach where each story lives independently. In addition, the Far Cry games work on the same principle, where each part tells its story in a separate setting.
We previously reported that an insider revealed the first details of the plot of Far Cry 7. The events of the game will take place in New England.
In addition, Ubisoft recently presented an experimental game in which AI will be the main partner of the player. Several hundred people can play the Teammates demo right now.
