Washington and Moscow can discuss “territories exchange”, but Kiev insists: no concessions to the complete cessation of war.

The idea of the so -called “territories exchange” can be one of the topics of Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, who, according to the Kremlin, can take place in the coming days in the United Arab Emirates.
According to Bloomberg, Trump expressed his willingness to support the ceasefire if Putin agrees to peace talks, subject to discussion of territorial concessions. Earlier, the United States allegedly proposed to recognize Russia’s control over the Crimea and partially occupied regions of Donbass, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia, but Kiev rejected this proposal.
Here are the territories of Russia to consolidate in the event of a peace agreement:

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has repeatedly stated that he would not accept any arrangements that provide for the rejection of sovereign territories to a complete and unconditional ceasefire.
Russia annexed Crimea in 2014, and after a full -scale invasion of 2022 partially occupied Kherson, Donetsk, Lugansk and Zaporizhzhya regions. Despite Putin’s statements about the “accession” of these regions, Russia does not fully control them.
That precededAs reported by UNIAN, Ukraine is ready to consider the ceasefire on the current line of the front, if it leads to the end of the war. At the same time, this is only possible if the international recognition of Russia’s control over any occupied territories is not allowed.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has acknowledged that the release of occupied territories is more impossible in armed. According to the newspaper, the President believes that it is necessary to look for diplomatic paths.
