The Olympic diver, 30, has been passionate about the hobby for years and is often seen knitting poolside during competitions.
On Monday he shared the moment he gave actress Sharon, 66, the garment after carefully wrapping it up and driving to her house.
As she tried it on Sharon gushed: ‘Oh my gosh look at this! Look at these buttons. Thank you Tom I love this so much. You cute, wonderful talent. Look at that!’
Sharing the video Tom penned in the caption: ‘CARDIGAN REVEAL: Come with me as I deliver the finished cardigan to @sharonstone! I’m so happy with how it fits.
‘Watch this space for more Knotty List knits.’
Last July Tom was spotted with his knitting equipment at the Paris Olympics.
The Team GB diver regularly knitted while poolside at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics too, as he watched his teammate Jack Laugher secure a bronze medal.
Daley has showcased his knitting skills regularly, showing off several pieces such as a cream garment, adorned with the Team GB logo in 2021.
Daley has previously spoken about the cathartic effect knitting has on his mindset during competitions, after setting up an Instagram page showing his fits called Made With Love By Tom Daley.
He said: ‘When we went to Japan for the test event I actually took my knitting with me and was doing it during my competition because sometimes there’s 45 minutes in between each dive so I’d sit there and knit and just take my mind off the competition completely. I’m obsessed!’
He also joked that his one worry going into the Olympics is he will run out of yarn while he is there.
He added: ‘I’m thinking of taking a little project out there where I’m going to try and create some kind of Olympic themed jumper so I can look back in 20 years and be like ‘I made that at the Olympics’ how cool is that?’
Daley made his Olympic debut as a 14-year-old in Beijing and won bronze at London 2012 and Rio.
Tom Daley and Lance Black his American screenwriter and director husband have two children together.
On Valentine’s Day 2018, the couple announced that they were expecting their first child on Instagram.
Their first child Robert Ray Black-Daley was born June 27, 2018.
Tom and Lance welcomed their second son with an official announcement in the Times on April 5, 2023, reading: ‘Black-Daley on 28th March to Thomas Robert Daley and Dustin Lance Black, a son, Phoenix Rose.’
