The day before, the singer presented the Ukrainian version of the song “Chinchilla” and released a new music video for it.
The singer also announced the release of her new album “Love. Tears. Manifest”, which will include other Ukrainian-language versions of her hits (“Nightmare”, “Life goes on”, “You will always have time to give up”, “I remember”, “Above the clouds”).
On the Threads social network, blogger Natella Keers praised Karol for such a decision and thanked the artists who dare to translate.
/ screenshotThe singer suddenly reacted to this with a sharp remark, which many perceived as inappropriate.
“This is not an act of translation and not a gesture of “finally”. This is a decision to rewrite something that already had a form, but needed a new meaning. The songs were not translated. They were rethought. They were given a new breath, a new purpose, a new logic… Do not reduce creativity and any work to the formula “finally waited.” This is how those who do not create think,” Karol wrote.
She added that these “texts represent a new version of the works”:
“And I like them now, honestly, even more than the original ones.”
And the co-authors with whom she worked on the texts, as the singer stated, came to her not as task performers, but as “carriers of a spark”: “The spark became a flame – not by order, but by heart chakra.”
It will be recalled that earlier Tina Karol made an unexpected confession against the backdrop of criticism of her work by the composer Yevhen Rybchinsky.
