“Today is my grandmother’s funeral. And I still can’t accept that this is reality. This cursed war took a lot from me, including my loved ones. It took my grandparents from me at the beginning of the war, and here is another one of my kindred souls – my other grandmother, passed away, and today is her funeral,” he noted on Instagram.
According to the stylist, the grandmother survived the Second World War, was in a concentration camp, and in her old age she simply could not survive the second war.
“Grandma simply couldn’t stand all this horror, news, fear, pain, powerlessness. What happens every day in our country. The war killed her not with bullets, but with anxiety. It hurts me so much to write. Because she was very dear and dear to me. And now in my heart there is another silence left by the war,” added Andre Tan.
