The video showed how the laser worked on a fixed target / UNIAN collage, video footageThe network for the first time appeared on the polygon tests of the Ukrainian Battle Laser “Trizub”. These staff were published in the video footage to the conference “European Defense Industry: Prospects for Cooperation with the Ukrainian OPC”, which was attended by the Commander of the Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces Vadim Sukharevsky.
The video, probably shot at the end of the summer (judging by lush trees and stubble on the field), shows an episode of polygonal “firing” from the laser. In particular, you can see how the laser works for a conditional land target, as well as blinds FPV-Dron.
The video also shows the appearance of the laser gun and the operator’s workplace. As you can see in the roller, guns on the target is done with the help of a joystick.
The titers stated that the Ukrainian Laser “Trizub” is intended for the destruction of all types of air goals. In this case, shock drones, airbags and rockets are capable of destroying up to 3 km, and helicopters and even planes – up to 5 km. In optical dazzling mode, it can work for a distance of up to 10 km.
In addition, the video was shown for the first time a new Ukrainian non -tranquility boat “Alligator 9”, which can carry laser weapons.

A little later, he said that Ukrainian laser weapons seemed to be successfully used to combat Russian air purposes.
However, weapons experts skeptically evaluated such statements. Director of the Analytical Portal Defense Express Sergey Zgurets suggested that it could be more about the raw technology that is still working on than the finished weapons.
