Khlyvniuk also told how he reacts when fans ask him to perform such tracks at concerts.
As you know, the band started its musical career 20 years ago. Previously, the members of the collective released mainly Russian-language compositions, which became hits not only in Ukraine, but also abroad. In particular, “Vakhteram”, “Hottabych”.
In an interview for “Ukrainian Pravda”, Khlyvnyuk noted that fans will no longer hear Russian-language songs performed by him. The band has forever abandoned such a repertoire and now writes music exclusively in Ukrainian. Andriy emphasized that he cannot afford to sing in the language of the aggressor country that is terrorizing Ukraine:
“Watchmen” fly to us every day. “Guards” flew to Sumy, killed people, to Odessa, to Kyiv. The Russian-language repertoire of this band is over for a very, very long time, if not forever, I’m not sure.

“I always have a person who reminds me that you can’t get into a fight, because you are an artist and this is your concert. Because they will say that Khlyvnyuk was “outraged” and tried to give bream to someone from his audience. I have specially trained people, who say: “Andrew, everything is fine, you are at the concert, take it easy,” the stage star noted.
We will remind, earlier Andrii Khlyvnyuk answered why he refused the international award in London. The musician emphasized that he was not ready to receive the award, which was also given to Russians.
