Star Wars Jedi’s Star Wars will be a step -by -step tactic / photo – Respawn EntertainmentLucasfilm has posted a panel schedule for Star Wars Celebration 2025, which will be held in Japan. One of the key events will be the presentation of a new step -by -step tactical game in the Star Wars Universe from Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment, scheduled for April 19.
Bit Reactor is an independent studio founded in 2021 by former XCom and Civilization developers. At the beginning of 2022 it became known that she was working on tactics in the Star Wars Universe in collaboration with Respants. But since then she kept silence, many even thought that the project had been canceled.
The development is underway on Unreal Engine 5, and, apparently, the project is already close to completion. According to the current standards of the AAA industry, the average development cycle is about five years, and since the studio has started work in 2021, the release can take place in the near future.
The head Reactor Greg Fjortsh has previously stated that the studio seeks to create a game that would be deep and accessible at the same time, and will be distinguished by a high level of processing.
Respawn Entertainment, which participates in the project as a publisher, previously released two games of the Star Wars Jedi series. However, at the beginning of 2024 it became known that EA canceled their shooter based on the “mandalore”, which caused fears about other projects. Bit Reactor, for her part, stated that their games did not affect the reduction and it continues to develop according to plan.
In addition to the project Respants, there are now at least 2 projects for “Star Wars”: Star Wars: Eclipse with a nonlinear plot from the developers of Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human and Remake of the Classical Star Wars: The Knight.
