Serhii “Flash” Beskrestnov, a well-known domestic specialist and consultant in the field of military radio technologies, drew attention to this.
“The future is near,” the specialist joked on his Facebook page.
Several witty comments from netizens gathered under the post of “Flash”. One of them joked that the Russians’ “development” could lead to a machine uprising.
“There on the floor, the ensign lies inconspicuously. Shifts gears and gasses,” wrote another user.
In the presented footage, you can see how the developers first test the gear shift, and then the car with an empty driver’s seat moves. The driver controls it remotely, watching the road on the laptop screen.
According to Russian sources, the car was equipped with a remote control module that connects to the game pedals and steering wheel. For communication, they probably use Wi-Fi, a radio channel, a 4G network, and possibly Starlink.
“This provides an almost unlimited control distance,” the Russians say.
The Russians themselves probably take the new development seriously and want to use it on the fronts of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
According to them, “Buhanka” is the main workhorse of the Russian-Ukrainian war. With its help, they provide front-line logistics, deliver ammunition, food and medicine.
Due to the mass use of drones, the drivers of these cars are exposed to a great risk. Therefore, if the Russians are able to establish the production of unmanned Loaves, it may complicate the situation for Ukrainian defenders.
Unmanned technologies at the frontIt should be noted that Ukrainian fighters use ground robots in the fight against the Russian Federation in many different ways, in particular, to install mines, carry loads and transport the wounded.
The key advantage of these robots is the ability to transport heavy loads, which “normal” UAVs cannot do.
According to Western experts, it is ground robots that can decide the fate of the Russian-Ukrainian war, as they are able to solve complex logistical tasks in the so-called kill zone.
