For most residents of Ukraine there is a tariff of 7.96 hryvnia per cubic meter.
Gazda writes that five suppliers offer Ukrainians both annual fixed and monthly variables. At the same time four companies operate only on annual contracts.
Monthly tariffs range from 8.46 to 21.5 hryvnias per cubic meter, and annuals – from 7.79 to 9.99 hryvnia.
The highest price is offered by LLC “Lvivnergozbut” – 21.5 hryvnia per cubic meter on a monthly contract. At the same time, the lowest in the company “Naftogaz of Ukraine” – 7.96 hryvnia per cubic meter on the annual contract. This price is guaranteed to operate at least by the end of April.
It is worth noting that Naftogaz serves the overwhelming number of consumers – more than 12 million households or 98% of gas consumers in Ukraine.
Russian gas transit through Ukraine – which will be with tariffsUkraine has not extended the contract for Russian gas transit to Europe from January 1, 2025, which Kyiv warned in advance. This statement gave rise to speculation on gas tariffs.
Oleg Popenko, the chairman of the consumers of the utilities of Ukraine, said that it is unlikely that gas tariffs in Ukraine will change from January 1 due to the termination of gas transit from the Russian Federation.
At the same time, as of January 1, gas transportation tariffs for internal consumers will increase four times.
