Also, Ukrainian filmmakers will be able to watch Savan Thriller from the legendary David Cronenberg, the Body Government “The Ugly Sister”, the comedy fighter “Shutda up” and a documentary about the Punk-Folk Guurt Bordello leader Eugene Gudza.
In addition, the seventh festival “Swiss Cinema Week” will start in Kyiv on July 10.
Meanwhile, the German brick thriller will be published online on Netflix.

The film will tell you about the young years of Joseph Kent Clark – an omnipotent refugee from the planet Krypton, who tries to find his place on Earth, looking for a balance between his cryptone past and earthly education.
The lead roles in the film were played by David Corsvet (“Pearl”, “Smeal”, TV series “politician”, “Hollywood”) and Rachel Brosna (TV series “Wonderful Mrs. Misesel”).
In addition, the movie was played by Isabella Moner (“Madame Web”, “Alien: Romulus”, series “Last of us”), Nicholas Golt (franchise “People ICS”, “Fragrant Max: Road of Anger”, “Nospher”), Natuta Philion ” Sean Gann (Franchise “Guardians of Galaxy”, “Suicide Squad: Mission of Path”), Frank Grillo (“The First Avengers: Winter Soldier”, “Good, Bad, Kop”, Multi series “Monsters Commandos”) and others.
He made a movie on his own scenario James Gann (Franchise “Guardians of Galaxy”, “Suicide Squad: Mission of Dut”, TV series “Peacemaker”) – this is the first full -length movie in the framework of DC’s updated cinema from James Anna and Peter Safran.
The world premiere of the new “Superman” took place on July 7, 2025 in Los Angeles.

The main character of the film is a man named Ray, who has been able to be a killer and a devoted family man for years. However, as soon as he decided to tie with a criminal career, everything changes: a new order in the mafia makes his target. Time comes out, and the former cop has only one night to take the family out of the city. And even less – to tell his wife all the truth. Although it, as it turns out, has its secrets.
The main roles in the film played Kevin James (“Classmates”, “My boyfriend from the zoo”), Kristina Richci (“moral values of the Adams family”, “Casper”, “Sleeping Lashchyna”, series “Wenzda”), Louis Gusman (“Fighter”, franchise “Righteous”) and others.
The film was directed by Edward Drake, who was mostly distinguished by second -rate fighters such as “Detective Knight” or “Paradise City”.

This movie, which some critics have already compared with last year’s sensation “Substance”-a mountain-interpretation of a classic fairy tale about Cinderella. However, it also returns a place to a more lightweight story to the primary source, in which the girls agreed to cripple themselves to conquer a charming prince.
She removed the tape of Norwegian director Emily Blichfeldt, for which it is a full -length debut.
The film’s world premiere took place at the Berlin Film Festival at the beginning of 2025, and later it was shown at Sandens.
Currently, an IMDB movie rating is 7 out of 10 points, while on Rotten Tomatoes, he received 96% of the Criticists with Certified Fresh Criticists and 87% of the audience. At the same time, at Metacritic, cinema experts rated it at 70 out of 100 points, and a wide audience – 7 out of 10 points, which in both cases corresponds to the characteristic “generally positive feedback”.
ShroudThe Shrouds (France, Canada, 2024, Thriller/Fiction/Drama)
The main character of the film is a 50-year-old well-known businessman Karsh. Refusing to accept the death of his wife, he invented the revolutionary and contradictory Gravetech system, which allows the living to connect to his loved ones in the savannas. One night, several graves, including his wife’s grave, are vandalized. Karsh is undertaken to look for the guilty.
The tape played Venan Cassel (“Irreversibility”, “Bagrian Rivers”, “Black Swan”, “Trans”, Dilog “Three Musketeers”), Diaan Kruger (“Troy”, “Flagless Virgins”, “On the Border”) and Gay Pierce (“Remember”, “Iron Man 3”.
The film was made by the cult Canadian director David Cronenberg (“Video”, “Dead Zone”, “Fly”, “M. Butterfly”, “Justified Cruelty”, “Dangerous Method”, “Cosmopolis”).
The world premiere of the tape was held at the competition program of the Cannes Film Festival on May 20, 2024, but it was released only in the spring of 2025.
Currently, an IMDB movie rating is 5.7 out of 10 points, while on Rotten Tomatoes, it received 76% of the Criticists with Certified Fresh Critics and 54% of viewers. At the same time, at Metacritic, cinema experts rated it at 71 out of 100 points (corresponds to the characteristic “In general positive reviews”), and a wide audience – 5.6 out of 10 points (corresponds to the characteristics of “mixed or medium reviews”).
Scream of My Blood: History Gogol BordelloScream of My Blood: A Gogol Bordello Story (USA, 2023, Documentary/Music)
The tape tells the story of Yevgeny Gudz-a Ukrainian emigrant with Roma roots, which founded the punk folk band Gogol Bordello. After the Chernobyl accident in 1986, his family moved from Kiev to the west of Ukraine, and with the collapse of the USSR – emigrated to the United States. In New York, Yevgen Gudz gathered around him the same immigrant musicians from different countries who united in an explosive and unrestrained band that won lovers around the world. Even Madonna herself expressed her admiration!
Eugene’s position has been paid a lot of attention in the film after the start of a full -scale invasion of Russia in Ukraine – since then, the musician has been actively supporting his historical homeland, participating in various actions in the United States and attending Ukrainian military in the frontline areas.
Currently, an IMDB movie rating is 8 out of 10 points.
Swiss Cinema Week 2025(Switzerland, festival)
From July 10 to July 14, the seventh “Swiss Cinema Week” will be held at the Kiev Cinema “October”, in which Ukrainian filmmakers are traditionally introduced to Switzerland.
This year, the film review includes six films in completely different genres: Scientific and fiction thriller P The artificial intelligence, the sports drama on the rescue of the family farm, the animated surrealist Odyssey, the lawsuit of the beginning of the last century, which became a symbol of a wider struggle for gender equality, a documentary about Celine Dion and tragicomedy about the relationships of labor migrants with receiving families.

BrickBrick (Germany, 2025, Thriller/Detective)
At the center of the film is a young couple Tim and Olivia, which reveal a mysterious brick wall that appeared around their apartment building in just one night. Now they have to combine efforts with their distrustful neighbors to escape.
The lead roles in the film were played by Mattias Schweighi (“Red Baron”, “The Army of the Madie”, “The Army of Thieves”, “Oppenheimer”) and Ruby O. Fi (“Army of Thieves”, “Polar”), which are a couple in real life.
The film was filmed by German director Philip Koch, the most famous for the Netflix “Tribe of Europe” in 2021.
The film’s world premiere took place at the Munich Film Festival on July 2.
Currently, an IMDB movie rating is 5.4 out of 10 points.
For a wide audience, the movie will be available on Netflix since July 10, 2025.
