But Manu Feildel showed off his body art in all of its glory as he hit the beach with his mother at Nielsen Park in Sydney on Thursday.
The 51-year-old French chef went shirtless in a pair of printed boardshorts as they cooled off in the heat.
He also wore several silver rings and a large pendant around his neck.
The mother and son duo chatted as they floated around in the water during the sweet family outing.
Last year, Manu added to his collection of colourful tattoos.
He shared a video of himself getting a large octopus etched on his forearm.
In the video, originally posted by tattoo artist Mertim Gokalp, he put on a brave face as he sat through the painful process.
‘Thanks mate it’s always a pleasure to see you,’ Mertim captioned the post, while also tagging Thirteen Feet Tattoo parlour in Sydney.
In 2022, he raised temperatures at Channel Seven’s annual Perth Telethon when he ripped off his shirt to flaunt his extensive collection.
The French chef hilariously painted some abs on his stomach, using bronzer to create the illusion of a six-pack.
Home and Away star Lynne McGranger couldn’t get enough of the strip show, and was seen smiling and laughing as she touched Manu’s tummy.
The culinary star played up to the role of a male stripper, showing off his dance moves and flexing his muscles.
The two stars were answering calls alongside other celebrities and notable figures to help raise money for 50 beneficiaries, including the Perth Children’s Hospital.
Manu has been co-hosting and judging My Kitchen Rules Australia since its inception in 2010.
However, the heat in the kitchen can get too much for the celebrity chef, who has been openly candid about his personal experience with stress and anxiety.
The French-Australian restaurateur said he goes swimming in an ocean pool almost every morning as the sun rises.
‘I do not share too much of my private life on my social media in the last couple of years but today I felt like sharing my experience,’ he began.
‘I believe that most of us suffer from some type of stress, anxiety or even some mental breakdowns at times and trust me, I am not any different. I believe I found my medicine.
‘Since the beginning of the year I’ve been swimming in the ocean pool nearly every morning and it’s changed my life in many ways.
‘It’s nothing spiritual but just simply revitalising. It clears my mind from any negativity and kick-starts my day in a great mood. It’s giving me more energy and more focus.’
‘Anyway I just thought if I can help someone find a solution to their battles, try that,’ he suggested.
