The news comes after Justin Bieber, 31, was criticised by fans for his bizarre caption about Hailey’s recent appearance on the cover of Vogue.
Taking to Instagram, the dad-of-one shared pictures of his wife in the pages of Vogue with fans, confessing that he once told her that she would ‘never’ grace the cover of the publication during an argument.
‘Yo this reminds me when Hailey and I got into a huge fight,’ he captioned the upload. ‘I told hails that she would never be on the cover of vogue, Yikes I know, so mean.
‘For some reason because I felt so disrespected. I thought I gotta get even..
‘I think as we mature we realize that we’re not helping anything by getting even. We’re honestly just prolonging what we really want which is intimacy and connection [sic].’

He later deleted the post, but it’s now clear whose side his ex-girlfriend Selena, 32, is on in the marital spat.
Hailey, 28, also announced her skincare brand Rhode’s partnership with Sephora this week, and Selena showed her encouragement as she liked Sephora’s Instagram post announcing the Rhode collaboration.
Hailey and Justin, who recently welcomed their first child, tied the knot in 2018 just a few months after Justin and Selena ended things for good after eight tumultuous years of on-and-off romance.
Evidence of bad blood between Hailey and Selena is questionable at best, but many fans insist that the A-listers have been embroiled in a years-long feud.
While Selena’s liking of the post about Hailey may seem inconsequential, the pop star is aware of how closely fans follow her social media activity.
Most recently, Hailey allegedly liked a TikTok throwing shade at Selena’s fiancé Benny Blanco’s looks and his relationship with Selena, reigniting rumours of the feud.

Still, if something like an alleged TikTok like could make headlines, Selena was certainly well aware that liking the Sephora post would send a message of support to Hailey.
Selena has previously spoken out on her breakup with Justin, opening up in her Apple TV+ documentary My Mind & Me, saying, ‘I felt haunted by a past relationship that no one wanted to let go of. But then I just moved past it. I wasn’t afraid anymore.’
She added, ‘I feel like I had to go through the worst possible heartbreak ever. I just think that needed to happen, and ultimately, it was the best thing that ever happened to me.’
