Enemy infantrymen wanted to break into the northern part of Pokrovsk.

This was reported in Telegram 7 by the Rapid Response Corps of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is noted that in the northern part of Pokrovsk, the enemy made an attempt to storm the positions of units of the 25th separate Sicheslav airborne brigade of the 7th corps of the ShR DShV, but their paratroopers detected them in time and gave a strong repulse.
“Thanks to coordinated actions, our paratroopers inflicted fire damage on the enemy. After that, the enemy’s assault group lost the opportunity to advance further and was forced to hide in private buildings and basements,” the message said.
The paratroopers of Sicheslav conducted preliminary reconnaissance and eliminated the enemy in those places where he hid.
The 7th Corps also showed a video of repulsing the Russian attack and the final stage of the destruction of the enemy’s assault group.
The situation at the frontAs UNIAN reported, military analyst and veteran of the Russian-Ukrainian war Oleksiy Hetman noted that the Russian invaders have a new deadline for the capture of Pokrovsk, Mirnograd and Gulyaipol. Now the command requires them to do it by February.
According to him, there is already an increase in the number of military clashes – more than 200 per day, in order to fulfill the orders of the Russian dictator.
The expert noted that the current winter weather will affect the situation on the front line, but it’s not just about the weather. It is extremely difficult to do any active activities in frosty weather.
