And then they added lines dedicated to EBU. In particular, the song sounds: “Go nah*and ebu, I do not want to go to court. The smaller ones get less and the larger ones – more.” In addition, it was the Eurovision that Estonian and the Dutchman sent “to the hell.”
The reason for such a statement about the international competition in Yost Klein, probably, was his year’s disqualification from the show. It is known that the artist was expelled from Eurovision a step towards the Grand Final because of his behavior. Ebu accused him of improperly attitude towards the show staff, in particular, in threats to the operator and photographer.
As for the war in Ukraine, none of the singers spoke on this topic. They did not support either of the parties, however, they continued to cooperate with the Russians. In particular, Klein wrote a track with a rapper from the Russian Federation of CMN, in which he sang about love for a terrorist country, and in 2023 he released a song with the band Russian Village Boys.
Tommy Cash did not escape from his colleague and also released a song with Russian artists from the Little Big team. In 2018, he performed in Russia and starred in the American Russians with Russian Illich, aka Ilya Pruskin. And now it became known that the competitive number of the Estonian on Eurovision was put by Russian production Alina Piazok.
According to the EBU rules, the executor may be threatened with disqualification. Since the songs of the participants of the show should not have verbal images, discriminatory statements, reducing the achievements of others. Also, contestants should not spread false content about ESC or EBU participants.
