Samsung announces a possible competitor Huawei Mate XT this month / Samsung’s conceptAt the presentation of the Galaxy S25 in January, Samsung only hinted at the development of the first smartphone with a triple display. Now the Android Authority has found one UI 8 first real real evidence of the existence of such a device.
The device will be called “Galaxy G Fold”, although in the One UI 8 code it is marked as “Multifold 7”. The exact dimensions of the phone are unknown, but judging by the renders, the novelty will receive the same block of cameras as the base Galaxy S25.
One of the differences in the Samsung Samsung Triple Mate XT is the use of G-mechanism, in which both sides of the display folds inside. For its part, the Huawei device is made on the principle of the accordion, when one hinge bends outside and the other inside, thereby leaving one of the panels accessible to use.
