“The occupiers are once again trying to leave peaceful cities, towns and villages without heat and light in the most severe frosts of this winter. This is deliberate terror against the civilian population. It is vile and cynical,” said the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (OVA) Oleg Synegubov.
According to him, the damage caused by the attacks is really serious. After each shelling, emergency services immediately go to the places.
“Rescuers of the State Emergency Service, energy workers, emergency ambulance doctors, and communal services work around the clock. We are doing everything to preserve the heat and electricity supply for the residents of Kharkiv and the residents of the region. Thank you to everyone who is keeping the energy infrastructure in place today. Your work is heat in homes and light for thousands of families,” the official emphasized.
Synegubov called on residents of Kharkiv region to be attentive to air warning signals.
