It is no secret that on the eve of departure to Switzerland, the soloist of Daniel Leshchynsky was diagnosed with chronic laryngitis, which was why he was forbidden to sing. However, thanks to the support of doctors, the singer was still able to take the stage and perform the Bird of Pray competition composition. But, as the band members say, these were not the only problems. In particular, the musicians noted that they felt pressure on participation in the competition through the war in Ukraine and the results of the national selection. And even mentally, the semifinals seemed more complicated than the performance in the finals.
“The semifinals were an important milestone. For my brother, Valentin was so accurate. He was focused on this. You all saw it,” Daniel said at a press conference, remembering his brother’s reaction during a vote that has already become a meme on the network.
