On December 19 at 11:00 a.m., a press conference will be held in the UNIAN press center with the participation of the President of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine and the Head of the State Film Agency of Ukraine, dedicated to the development of Ukrainian sports cinema and prospects for cooperation between the sports and cinematographic industries.
During the event, participants will discuss the role of sports cinema as an important cultural product that shapes national values, popularizes sports, demonstrates strength of character, endurance, mutual support and overcoming personal challenges.
As an example of successful cooperation, two artistic film projects that are currently in production will be presented. In particular, the film dedicated to rhythmic gymnastics will be presented by producer Oleksandr Maksymchuk, and the biographical film about the outstanding Ukrainian athlete Olga Kharlan will be presented by producer Andriy Nogin. Both projects are planned to be presented to the general public at the end of next year.
