The scandals surrounding the contest are not abating, and now the incident with the track of a Ukrainian woman, which is very similar to a well-known Spanish-language composition, is gaining momentum.

FINKA was suspected of plagiarizing the hit of the Spanish singer Rosalia – FIЇNKA was suspected of plagiarizing the hit of the Spanish singer Rosalia – “Con Altura” / Instagram screenshotThe Ukrainian singer, known for the hit song “Hutsulyanka”, FIЇNKA, who made it to the longlist of the National Selection for “Eurovision-2025”, was suspected of plagiarism. The network discovered that the artist’s competition track is very similar to the Spanish star’s song.

As you know, the singer wants to present Ukraine on the international stage with the track “Culture”. Voting for the tenth finalist of the National Selection is currently underway, in which FIЇNKA is also participating. The winner will be announced on January 17, but as of now, it is this singer who is leading the survey among Ukrainians in “Dia”. However, not everything is so perfect, and the star, like some other participants, got into a scandal.

In his Telegram channel, blogger and music columnist Roman Buturlakin pointed out that her competition track could be plagiarism, which is strictly prohibited by the rules of the show. It is similar to the hit of the Spanish singer Rosalia – “Con Altura”. This composition was released in 2019 and has collected 2.2 billion views on YouTube during this time. But the Ukrainian track saw the light of day in 2025.

In his post, the blogger refers to a video in which the two songs were compared. But he was confused by the fact that the video was published on a page with almost no posts and followers.

FIINKA’s song “Culture” is accused of plagiarism. It is interesting that this video appeared on a new and virtually empty TikTok profile, and all that is there is a video about FIINKA’s closest competitor in terms of votes. There is also a hint of plagiarism, superimposing the minus of the legendary song QUEEN on the words ENLEO, although it does not seem to me at all even in such a variation. FIЇNKA is another matter: what is the motive, what the vocal movements are really quite similar that it’s hard not to hear,” wrote Buturlakin.

The winner of the vote will perform in the final of the National Selection on February 8 and will be able to compete for the right to represent Ukraine at Eurovision.

We will remind you that earlier another member of the National Selection got into a scandal due to reposts on the network. The singer MUAYAD shared offensive content about Iryna Farion, as well as videos with Russians and clips where women are disparaged. The artist was accused of discrimination against women and sexism.
